It is the goal of Steel Reef Infrastructure Corp to ensure that practical and effective measures are used to:
- Protect the health and safety of the company's employees, contractors and the public.
- Safeguard the environment.
- Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
Organizations that manage health and safety can successfully display a number of common characteristics. They have their health and safety risks under control and can demonstrate progressive improvement in their injury and illness records. Below are the principles of health and safety, environmental protection, and management practices which form the foundations of Steel Reef's corporate responsibility practices.
With over 259 kilometers of pipeline and 8 assets spread across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, Steel Reef understands the degree of its presence in the Canadian environment. To that end, Management has devised a set of guiding principles designed to create awareness among its employees and contractors to prevent any incidents from occurring. These principles are summed up in our Corporate Environmental Protection Policy.
