With over 259 kilometers of pipeline and 8 assets spread across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, Steel Reef understands the degree of its presence in the Canadian environment. To that end, Management has devised a set of guiding principles designed to create awareness among its employees and contractors to prevent any incidents from occurring. These principles are summed up in our Corporate Environmental Protection Policy.
Health & Safety
At Steel Reef, our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and local communities. We take the lead in developing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan to strive for an accident-free workplace and to achieve high health and safety performance.
Management is responsible for—and actively involved in—the implementation of the Company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protection initiatives. Management will also ensure that the necessary equipment, training and procedures required for compliance with applicable legislation of the Canadian Petroleum Industry's Guiding Principles are provided.
