Lignite Gas Plant

The Lignite gas plant is a gas processing plant located in Burke County, North Dakota, 10 miles (16 km) directly south of the North Portal border crossing. Lignite has a variety of processing services including sweet gas, a lean oil absorption process for superior NGL recoveries, the ability to fractionate recovered NGLs as well as trucked-in Y-grade, and production of C3 and C4. After processing, the product egresses through the WBI System while the NGLs are trucked out. The Company owns a 100% interest in Lignite and also owns an extensive 232 mile (373 km) gas gathering system of pipelines connected to Lignite and Steel Reef’s Canadian gas gathering infrastructure.
